I’ve been reconnecting with my love of photography, and specifically the textures in film. I wanted to celebrate the shadows by giving the feeling of grain. The darkness is not one thing, but hundreds of stitches or cells, living together, to hold the light. Layered with traditional stitches and tufts, celebrating the shadow, while they hold the sun-kissed face.
