Girl Dust // 2024

A place for orts and all sorts. I love making the Girl Dust pieces because I can often trace slivers of ribbon or wool to projects past. I can see the colours I’ve been indulging in, and allow what would feel like wasted scraps, telling new stories. No thread will go unloved. Every year I gather my girl dust from project past and place it into specially made frames. This is 2024's collection exhibited at the CODA Collective exhibition.
