Created for a book cover called Trespass. I embroidered these poppies onto a piece of metal salvaged from a scrap yard in Cape Town. This is one of the first times I created the reference by digitally painting it with a Wacom (thanks for the gift Derek!).
Scouring for greenery in Cape Towns worst drought in 100 years, the images with the greenery were shot by Wayne Reiche on a farm in Greyton.
