This piece reminds me of a alien love story. A topographic image of planet filled with romance.
I found this pink towel and wanted to play on it with textures. When I found A ‘mistake’ painting by @lorraineloots lying around @artist.admin it all came together. This piece has been all play; filled with felting, stump work, beading and a mishmash of techniques and materials. All the beads in this are old, found or given.
Its been so nice to allow myself space to play and I am grateful for Lorraine who encouraged my to experiment, and gave me permission to knick her work.
