Embroidery of Olive from Little Miss Sunshine embroidered onto printed cotton made with DMC cotton and Dinky Dyes silk.

I rewatched the movie on my flight to Canada. The intro scene is so amazing that I had to create something with it.  On my flight, I ‘finger-painted’ it on Procreate  (I had left my apple pencil at home) and while travelling across Canada I stitched this piece. It was made on trains and buses, in hotels and hostel rooms and finally pieced together back one in South Africa.
