JOY

This is Joy, an incredible woman from the Isle of Skye who was featured in SmartRead.

Smart Read is a magazine specially designed for people with macular eye degeneration. The magazine is crafted for the partially sighted so is A3 in size, the type is bigger and the imagery is more contrasting. It is made for doctors rooms where people anxiously wait for uncomfortable treatment for macular degeneration, with nothing to read because of their difficulties with vision. I love what they do and as someone who has been wearing glasses since they were 11, being a part of this publication of kindness was such a gift.
