A GIRL GONE GLITCHY

I wanted to create an abstracted portrait so I digitally glitched a photo I took of a friend using VJ software (VDMX5) and grabbing the images of it as it distorts to the song Default by Atoms for peace (I thought that was appropriate). I am attempting to embroiderer it, and this is a work in progress.

I love the idea that digital glitches happen over the primary image, but when embroidering it, it works in reverse. The ‘errors’ being placed down first.
