I’ll also provide updates on upcoming workshops that will teach you the skills that would almost guarantee a life of riches if you somehow found a time machine that could transport you back to the 16th century tapestry renaissance, or give you something artistic to do when you’re not at your day job. Either way, you’ll have a blast.

I love teaching workshops and have had the privilege of travelling and teaching from a few corners of the world. From Australia to Canada, the USA to Kuwait.
I have a few classes, from one-day beginner classes to multi-day abstract and experimental sessions. My workshops Sew Far Sew Good, A Strange Place for a Stitch, String Theory, The Corleone and the Coco Colab Class may have different focus and outcomes, yet they all embody uncovering your voice in stitch, finding little tricks and hacks to making unique embroidered work, colour theory and embracing mistakes.
I am a firm believer in just making things, making mistakes and figuring things out along the way. To sum it up: If you’re not making mistakes you’re doing something wrong. Which means you’re making a mistake. Which means you’re fine.

What is Fiancé's Favourite Finds?
While I know there are a squillion amazing kits out there I wanted to create something special and unique, limited and curated. This is why I created Fiance’s Favourite Finds. This is the Amazon opposite. Every piece in here has either helped my process or captured my heart! A lot of these items have their own background and stories while some are created exclusively for this edition.
Each edition is limited and I will never replicate a kit in that specific combination again.
These boxes are filled with items I have discovered as the best to work with through trial and error. Some are imported from Canada, Russia and Côte d’Ivoire while others are made with love in a sunny-ish Cape Town and bright but icy Johannesburg.
I love sharing the stories and making all the extra pieces unique.
